Great news for our team in the Berkshire Summer League – we won Division 2, meaning promotion back to Div 1 (from which we had been relegated in 2018). But it was only on points difference – the top 2 teams both had 135 points but we had conceded fewer games. In fact the 3 top teams all won 6 and lost 4 matches, whilst the 3 bottom teams all won 4 and lost 6, so the whole league was tight.
In fact, Hart lost their 2 matches, both 3~2 but the opposition also had poor results as the teams at the bottom did all they could to avoid relegation.
