HART SQUASH
It is important for any club to support the development of junior squash and this is certainly true for Hart Squash. In 2024 we founded Hart Junior Squash Club, which takes place every Sunday between 10am and 11.30am, under the guidance and supervision of Luke Cackett, a Grade 2 England Squash qualified coach. The Club is aimed at youngsters between the ages of 9 and 15, whether they have played before or not. Luke has played squash since the age of 8. He joined Hart Squash Club in 2022, quickly becoming a reliable team player and contributing to team success in 2023 and 2024. As a teenager, Luke regularly coached squash, tennis, and hockey for primary and secondary school children. He returned to coaching early in 2024, having enjoyed helping out novice players at HSC club nights.
Hart Squash is also very lucky to be supported by another local coach, Gary Hales, who is able to offer coaching to both juniors and adults. Gary is a Licensed Level 3 Squash Coach, who has many honours to his name, most recently being the Wales over 60’s champion in 2023.
